Her aim is to help people design sites that are effective and she recommends proper planning and marketing before this can be accomplished.
"Businesses have to know how to plan, market and sell online before launching their website," Ms Norfolk said.
She runs seminars and workshops for people interested in creating effective websites as well as those who already have them but are disappointed with the result.
Both courses - Starting your web presence in 2001, and Making your website work - start on May 21. They will be held at MLC Extend at 765 Glenferrie Road, Hawthorn.
Ms Norfolk has a Bachelor of Computer Science degree and has been operating her business for four years.
She goes on regular speaking engagements at business functions, telling the audience how small business can use technology more effectively.
"The first hour of consultation is given free of charge and I do make no-obligation visits to businesses," Ms Norfolk said.
